We decided to sell biofuels in 2005 in the belief that they could help customers reduce their carbon footprint and decrease our dependency on oil as a source for transport fuel.

Green transport & travel

Tesco remains committed to exploring all possible alternatives to distribution by road.   we have already switched from road to rail for transporting goods from our Daventry depot to Scotland and are looking to do more of this, depending on future development of the rail freight network.
